So Worth It

What makes life worth every trial and tribulation?

This face,

my happy, drooling, son.

Holding him tight,

and having him hold me back.

The way he reaches for me.

The way he rests his head on my shoulder.

The laugh that makes me light up.

The smile that just doesn't quit.

This my friends is what I was meant to be in this world.

An amazing mother,

to this amazing little boy.

Yes times get tough,

as you all can read in my previous post.

But at the end of it all.

It's just an amazing miracle.

Being a mother,

is something you can't explain to others.

It touches you in your soul.

It makes your heart beat a little stronger.

It makes tears come to your eyes.

And it makes you so full of love.

Being a mother,

is dirty diapers,

fussy cries and screams,

its boo boos,

and kisses,

it's smiles and giggles,

it's late nights and early mornings.

And most of all it's the most rewarding job in the entire world.
