Please Don't Use These

Yesterday was our weekly Lamaze class.

I love this class because it is very informative and gives you a bunch of information on your options,

and what to expect during birth.

But last night,

we were given a hand out.

The hand out was encouraging and empowering statements

to say to your partner during birth.

Some are great...

Others,

Not so much.

Here are the one's I am totally not allowing Justin to say to me....

It's OK to Cry Babe.

Just keep on keeping on.

Release and open up to the baby.

The contractions are your energy and your power.

It's not that scary.

AND MY LEAST FAVORITE OF ALL:

Ride those contractions like a wave and you won't go under, you'll just go higher over them.

I mean are these people for real?
