I have to say...
People should really know that a 6 month preggo person,
probably doesn't want to hear...
"OH MY GOSH...
You are getting so big!"
Please people...
I would prefer if you refrain from using this statement around me.
I can see myself in a mirror everyday...
I am aware that I can no longer fit in regular pants...
nor do I want to.
Honestly the only thing that's remotely comfortable,
other than nothing,
is a maxi dress.
Should be an interesting next few months.
And don't get me wrong...
Being pregnant is an amazing thing,
that God has blessed my body with.
And being able to make a baby is something so extraordinary that I should be embracing it.
But lets be honest here.
It's a hundred degrees outside every single day.
I'm getting bigger every single day.
In fact,
I feel like every time I eat my belly gets a little bigger,
and never goes down.
I have heartburn and yes, gas.
I feel uncomfortable every time I eat a regular sized meal,
and did I mention already that putting pants on is a nightmare.
Lets just say,
Whoever said being pregnant in the middle of the summer is SOOO AMAZING...
LIED!
But other than that...
Pregnancy is going great!
Ha Ha!
Oh update:
Going to the doctor tomorrow afternoon.
I'm sure the best part will be when I jump on that scale and find out how much weight I've gained!
Woo!!
But we do get to see our little man again!
Can't wait!
You are absolutely allowed to rant!!! And you look darling, so I wouldn't give the "big" comments and scale a second thought =)

haha! So true!
DeleteFirst of all ... I truly believe you're my pregnancy twin. I too am feeling like a huge whale whenever I feed my face, people say the stupidest things so I reply to them with a smart ass remark just because I can, the scale at my dr's office is refered to as the scale of shame and as soon as I step off it I look at the nurse and tell her it's her turn to get on (usually they laugh) ... I too am pregnant (and getting bigger by the second) during the hottest time of the year, I live in Sacramento and let me just tell you this week is supposed to be 106-108 all week! Next time I will try to plan according to the seasons. And yes ... we are allowed to complain here and there, and yes pregnancy is an amazing and beautiful things but sometimes it's not all baby hiccups and bursery rhymes. Sometimes its about the constipation, gas, and acid reflux too and those are just not pretty. So I am with you. Right there with you girl. :)
ReplyDeletePreach on sister! I completely feel ya! It's been a rough summer! Thanks making me feel like I'm not the only one! :)
