Dude Where's My Car?

This is the last thing someone wants to deal with in the morning.
You get up at the crack of dawn,
shower,
pull yourself out of the haze filled coma,
rush out the door to the street where you car was parked,
only to look around,
and it be gone.

Now at this point you're contemplating,
did it get stolen,
or towed?

Seeing as there are no cars in sight,
we are going to go with towed.
Unless some amazing car thief,
pulled a gone in 60 seconds,
and felt the need to steal multiple
Honda Accords.
But I'm guessing that's a no.

So now,
You are late to work,
Have to play detective,
and track down which (oh so nice) towing companies,
conveniently moved your car for you.

Great way to start the day,
dont cha think?

If you need me,
I'll be sitting right here.
Why?
Oh yea because I don't have a car this morning.

  1. Ugh, that sucks. I've never been towed but I've gotten NUMEROUS citations for having my car parked on the street during street sweeping.

  4. Not knowing where to find your car is, I think, the major headache you’ll have to suffer once your car is towed. The best thing you can do during situations like this is to call your city law enforcement agency to determine which tow company has your car. Did you find it hard to retrieve your vehicle? I hope not. Well, my brother wasn’t able to get his car on the same day it was towed, and then we found out that there’s an extra fee each day the car is held at the tow pound.

  5. When my son just started driving his own car, he had his car towed twice -- on the same month! That incident really taught him a lesson. You cannot just park your car anywhere you want to and there’s always a right place for you to park. You need to be reminded that there are laws being implemented in certain areas. You have to follow that so you can keep yourself away from facing such problems like this.

  7. Oh yeah, getting your car towed does not exactly start a great day. But this serves as a lesson to everyone. The thought of losing your car gives you a mini heart attack, so it's kind of a relief to know that your car has been towed, definitely better than stolen. Hehe.
